FUNDAMENTAL ONSHORE PIPELINE SYSTEM
February 25th – 28th 2013, Sheraton Hotel - Bandung
DESCRIPTION
Pipeline is one of the most important facilities in oil and gas industry in order to transport fluids from upstream to downstream and up to costumers both offshore and onshore pipelines. Therefore, a proper design in early stage has to be carried out to avoid pipeline failure during installation or operation period.
In this training various design aspects in oil and gas pipeline design will be given including ; i) pipeline hydraulics, ii) load and stress analysis, iii) material selection, iv) protection against corrosion, and many others. International standard of ASME B31.4 and B31.8 will be used as primary references for this training. Upon trained, the participant will be able to perform basic design for oil and gas pipeline and to have a profound knowledge to performing pipeline operation and maintenance works.
COURSE COVERAGE
· Introduction to Pipeline Engineering Design (as Per ASME B31.4 and ASME B31.4)
· Gas and Oil Pipeline Hydraulics
· Pipeline Diameter Determination
· Pipeline Material Design and Specification (API 5L)
· Load and Stress Design (Code and Specification)
· Valve, Regulators and Flow Measurement
· Cathodic Protection Design
· Expansion Joints, Loop and Flanges
