WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Assertiveness is about how you act in relationships and how effectively you communicate. Imagine what it would be like if you could express your wishes, feelings and thoughts in ways that improved your chances of getting what you want without infringing the rights of others. How would you feel if you could be true to yourself, stand up for your rights and resist attempts by others to put you down or take you for granted?
Assertiveness involves doing these things while at the same time listening to others and acting towards them with respect and honesty.
